Last September, we had three duo teams from our Maltese Fortnite roster participating in the GGCircuit $10k Test Server Event. One of our duos, made up of Matthew "Pullu" Pulis and Michele "Mikku" Agius won the European duo tournament, and walked off with a handy $1,600 prizepot.
GGCircuit is now back with a bigger tournament, featuring a $25,000 prizepot. Just like other GGCircuit tournaments, these are played in brick and mortar esports centres, and this time, our three duo teams will once again be playing from the Quickfire Esports Centre in St Julian's.
The tournament will span over three days, between the 10th and the 13th of January, with the first day being a warm up day. The 11th and 12th will have two solo championships each, and on the 13th, the three duo championships will take place. Our players will participate in all European events, which, across all championships, will feature a prizepool of $8,000.
Each solo championship (of which there are four), features a $1,000 first place prize, and a $250 second place prize, whilst the three duo championships will award $1,000 per winning team.
Our lineup for the event will be as follows:
Dean "Frag" Ciantar
Lewis "Aerah" Baitson (stand-in)
Matthew "Pullu" Pulis
Michele "Mikku" Agius
Shaun "Swrl_" Pace
Nicholas "Dagostin0" Dagostino
