During the past year or so, local esports organisation Quickfire has turned around from being an organiser of gathers and casual LAN events, to a full blown esports organiser after securing the backing of, and being acquired by one of Malta's largest businesses in the entertainment sector: Eden Leisure Group.
And they've started off with a bang, organising the first iteration of The Nova Series LAN event, with up to €10,000 in cash to be won. The event is being held at the amazing Intercontinental Arena Conference Centre, and will last between the 21st and the 24th of September, featuring tournaments for FIFA, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, Tekken 7 and Dota 2, amongst other fun challenges and events. Our brand new Dota 2 is of course in attendance for its debut event. Not only that, it is the first offline competition for almost all of our team members, so the excitement is real!
