2017 was a year of resurgence for Project Eversio. On the year of our tenth anniversary, we found renewed impetus in pushing forward local esports talent even further. Along the year, we've grown from hosting one six-man squad for a single game title, to twenty-three players for six game titles. To our regret, we've had to let go of our Overwatch squad due to inactivity, however the core players remained with the organisation as part of the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) roster.

Eversio ethos has always been about having the local champions compete at an international scale, and we're very happy to have the local champions for Dota 2, Rocket League, CoD: WW2, and CS:GO within the organisation. The only outlier squad here being that of StarCraft II, which unfortunately, hasn't had any local tournaments going for it, whilst the first local PUBG championship is still ongoing, but we're already pretty much at the tippity top of the mountain.

Naturally, the harder step is actually translating the local triumphs into an international presence, and we've seen some of our teams attempting just that. Our Rocket League squad has been participating in the ESL Go4RL Cups regularly, and although they haven't been able to get through the Round of 64, they've had the opporunity to play against professionals such as PENTA Sports, and plans are already underway for more. We've also seen our Dota 2 squad competing in the weekly ESL cups, although the squad is still looking for a breakthrough. Our CoD: WW2 squad was doing extremely well in the early days of the game, placing 5th-8th in the EsportsHub Kick-off tournament, and Round of 64 in the first CWL 2K event. Unfortunately, following the departure of our team leader, we haven't had the team participate in international events since.

Going into 2018, we're looking forward to see to which extent our players can further achieve an international presence. As aforementioned, our Rocket League squad is already gearing up to go, and we're especially looking forward to what our newest squads, those of PUBG and CS:GO can achieve.

If 2017 was the year of resurgence, as an organisation we're seeing 2018 as the year of formalisation. We're looking towards formalising Project Eversio as an organisation, to be able to reach new heights, and be able to provide more for our players, and hopefully, we will be able to welcome in players for more games into the fold.
