It's been over three months in the making, but after after putting in countless of hours into planning and coordinating every minute detail our Overwatch Team Manager Gann, together with Assistant Manager Cinzya and Coach Bevvy, have brought together a fantastic group of players from all around Europe to rise through the ranks of competitive Overwatch.
Whilst Project Eversio was founded way back in 2007, some of you may recall that a drought of competitive titles had put the organisation on a bit of a lull around 2015. But in 2016, the organisation came back in a big way with a full Maltese Overwatch roster featuring players such as PK who had been with the organisation for over a decade, to new faces such as Cin, Deathrow, Reed, Serenity, Scott and R1k who would become icons of the resurged brand. And thus whilst Overwatch holds a special place in our hearts, it is also a matter of unfinished business. Depsite our team's prowess, we never managed to lift the coveted gold trophy for Overwatch. Three years after the dissolution of our original squad, and we're back in business.
Overwatch's grassroots competitive credentials may be questionable, but competitive Overwatch still sits comfortably as the fourth most viewed esports in the world, and our first challenge will be the Overwatch Open Division EU ladder, which features 343 teams vying for the top spot.
Without further ado, please welcome the new Project Eversio Overwatch roster!
