We're happy to announce that  Cyril "Vortex" Coppini will be re-joining Project Eversio. Cyril became a member of our Overwatch squad just under a year ago, but had departed the organisation after the team stopped playing Overwatch entirely. This time, Cyril will be re-joining his old mates in our Battalion 1944 squad.

Vortex has quickly made a name for himself in the local scene. Having been somewhat of an outsider to the Maltese competitive scene during the Call of Duty 2 days, as he mostly played with foreign teams, Vortex skills came to the fore quite late in the day. He was considered one of the best DPS players in Maltese Overwatch scene by pure aim, and when Gamers.com.mt organised two nostalgic CoD2 tournaments towards the later part of 2017, he was capable of showing his mettle. Vortex was able to win the Malta eSports Festival 2017 together with Ephica, and also went on to be voted the MVP of the tournament. Ephica moved over to Battalion 1944 on release, but weren't able to translate their CoD2 glory into another victory in the new game, as they placed 5th/6th in The MRO Battalion 1944 Open last month.

Vortex joins our team in an attempt to bolster our lineup in the Blitzkrieg EU Community League which we're currently participating in, replacing  Scott "sCo" Vella who will be stepping down from the active roster and from the game. We thank Scott for his dedication, for making the team look good in photos, for his great work and for all the grenade kills!
